Why Wolves Den

This isn’t a retreat. It’s a reset.

Treatment gets you sober. The months after are where most men fall. Wolves Den is where you learn to live sober for real, with discipline, structure and men who expect you to show up.

We’re not
  • A spa
  • A clinic
  • A place to hide out
  • Somewhere to just sleep it off
We are
  • A home with rules and routine
  • Men who call you on your stuff
  • Mentors who have walked this road
  • A plan for the life after
01

Structure

Daily routines, house rules and real accountability. You always know what is expected of you, and so does every man beside you.

02

Brotherhood

You live, train and get honest with men doing the same work. We rise together, we stay together, and we never leave a wolf behind.

The West Coast

Forest, ocean and mountains are part of the program. Out here, recovery happens on the trail as much as in the house.

The program

More than staying sober. Building a life worth staying sober for.

Mentorship from lived experience

Daily accountability and one-on-one guidance from people who have been where you are.

A structured sober home

A drug- and alcohol-free house with daily routines, chores and clear expectations.

Fitness & discipline

Training is part of the week. Getting your body back is part of getting your life back.

Life skills

Cooking, budgeting, showing up on time, holding down work. The basics that make sobriety stick.

Excursions & events

Hikes, ocean days and wellness workshops around the Comox Valley, chosen by the house together.

Your own recovery plan

Every man gets a plan built around his goals, from first week to moving out on solid ground.

A day in the den

Discipline is built one ordinary day at a time.

Every day has a shape. It keeps idle hours from turning into risky ones, and after a while the routine stops being a rule and starts being who you are.

  1. 6:30

    Up and moving

Beds made, coffee, morning check-in with the house.

  2. 7:30

    Train

Workout, run or hike. Discipline starts with the body.

  3. 9:30

    House duties

Everyone pulls their weight. The den is ours to keep.

  4. 11:00

    Recovery work

Mentorship, step work, group or one-on-one.

  5. 1:00

    Purpose

Work, school, appointments, life skills or an excursion.

  6. 7:00

    Meeting

A meeting in town or the evening house circle.

  7. 10:30

    Lights out

Rest up. Tomorrow you go again.

Built on lived experience

Run by men who have been in the dark, and found the way out.

Wolves Den was founded by John Cecckin on a simple belief: men recover best alongside other men who won’t give up on them. Everything here, from the routine to the training to the trail, comes from lived experience, not a textbook.

When you call, you talk to someone who has sat where you’re sitting.

For families

You’ve carried this long enough.

If your son, partner, brother or father is coming out of treatment, the next few months matter most. We’ll talk you through how the house works, what’s expected of him, and how you can stay involved.

Counsellors, clinics and other referral partners: we return calls fast.

Getting started

  1. 1

    Make the call

Call us or leave your number. You will talk to someone who has lived it, not a call centre. No judgement and no pressure.

  2. 2

    Honest conversation

We talk about where you are, what you need and what the house expects. Families are welcome on the call.

  3. 3

    Move in

Bring your gear. You get your bed, meet the brothers and start your first week with a clear routine.

Who is Wolves Den for?

Men who are serious about staying sober and ready to live by structure, house rules and accountability. If you want it, we will meet you where you are.

What does it cost?

Call us and we will walk you through rates and any funding options that may apply. We would rather have that conversation honestly over the phone than hide it in fine print.

Do I need to finish detox first?

Wolves Den is sober living, not a medical detox. If you still need withdrawal management, call anyway and we will help you figure out the right next step.

How long do men usually stay?

It depends on the man. We set a plan with you when you arrive and review it as you progress. Leaving too early is one of the biggest risks in early recovery.

Can my family be involved?

Yes. Recovery hits the whole family. We keep families in the loop, with the resident’s consent, and we are happy to talk with parents and partners before move-in.

Can I work while I live here?

Yes, once you are settled. Getting back to work is part of building a life that holds up after you leave the den.

We rise together. We stay together. We never leave a wolf behind.

The hardest part is the first call.

Make it now, or leave your number and we’ll call you back. Whether it’s for you or someone you love, we’ll tell you straight if Wolves Den is the right fit.
